Plan to enter The Enchanted Orchard designed for kids of all ages. A short stroll across one of two bridges adjacent to the main Pecan Jam grounds, The Enchanted Orchard is a magical place tracing the scenic San Saba River, large enough for children to roam and run. They will encounter numerous sights and sounds beneath the canopy of 100 year old pecan trees as they are surrounded by Jugglers, Mimes, Story Tellers, Musicians, Face Painters, Balloon Artist and, much more. The non stop schedule of activities, will provide an exciting and relaxing environment for everyone who enters. Hourly performances in a natural amphitheater, and around the grounds will captivate the imagination. Hands on crafts, inflatables and special food round out the fun of this unique area. There is even a covered pavilion providing seating for weary feet and a comfortable place to enjoy the many foods available.
The Enchanted Orchard also provides a place for parents to allow their kids to relax. Although not a babysitting area, and children under 10 will have to be attended by responsible adults, (remember, there is the San Saba River bordering the park) the Enchanted Orchard will be a wonderful area for everyone to enjoy a change of pace from the Pecan Jam activities. The cost is included in your admission fee, so plan to spend some time in The Enchanted Orchard, it’ll be fun!
